Attended a meeting today hosted by Congresswoman Nydia Velasquez on the New Trump Tax Law, and it’s impact on NY’s working families. Many of us were in awe and worried, but one thing I remember the Congresswoman saying; don’t be afraid be motivated. Rally, March, be visible and VOTE. We don’t have time to be absent.
One thing for sure, was I left concerned about federal monies provided to La Nueva Esperanza and the impact it will have on services, with the reduction of federal dollars. Be educated. Be informed. Learn what the impact will be on your family and how your voice…is needed!
